For a view, look for three kinds of place: terraces facing the water, beach clubs on the Crescent and rooftop restaurants in hotels. A table by the water is worth booking ahead.

One beach club this guide can name is Bohemia, at FIVE Palm Jumeirah. In a 2025 video, Details in Luxury, a YouTube channel, described it as a beach club with sunset drinks, late-night parties and a Sunday brunch.

If you want shisha, some terrace restaurants offer it. Where it is offered, it is usually on an outdoor terrace.

For outdoor tables, the cooler months are the most comfortable. The summer heat makes indoor seating the better choice for most people, so book an indoor table in the hotter months.

Living on the Palm means most of your meals fall into three groups: quick meals near the Trunk and the malls, hotel restaurants when you have guests or a special occasion, and the occasional brunch.
